Are Stoke looking to ditch the stripes?

Rumours abound that Adidas (Stoke's new kit supplier for next season) has proposed a home strip that has partially ditched the famous red and white stripes.

According to the reports, Adidas have submitted various designs to the club for next season's new strip and that one includes stripes on the front of the shirt with just a plain colour on the reverse.

Fans will be shocked that there is even the suggestion of anyone tampering with the home strip. We've all got used to the myriad of away strip designs over the years, but the home strip has generally been left alone.

With the outcry it's caused, we'll have to hope that the club see sense and will opt for the traditional home kit design.

So Adidas always screws up the home kit! They added RED to ours, which hasn't been seen since 1994!!
