Groundhog day as James move is back on

It all seems the same as last Friday as last week's abortive move for David James seems to be back on.

This time around it seems as though it will happen after Stoke and Portsmouth are reported to have finally reached a compromise on his salary and contract.

The England keeper is expected at the Brit this morning for a medical and (all being well) he is likely to sign on loan for the rest of the season later today. As he's not cup-tied we'd expect him to make his first start on Sunday in the FA Cup tie against Arsenal.
