Will Megson be back at Stoke?

Gary Megson may be coming back at Stoke - if so, for how long and what's he going to be doing?

No sooner had the former Potters' boss been booted out of the Reebok after Bolton's 2-2 draw with Hull on Monday, the rumour mill swung into action with the usual stories of who would take his place and Tony Pulis' current number two, Peter Reid, is up there alongside Burnley's current boss, Owen Coyle as the favourites to replace Megson.

If Reid was to depart and if Megson was interested in the assistant manager's job there's no doubt that TP would jump at the chance to sign up his former Bristol Rovers' teammate. Whatever happens, Tone has already said that there is the opportunity for Megson to take up a casual coaching role at the Brit whilst he ponders his next move.
