Lawrence struck down with possible swine flu

Liam Lawrence has become the latest Premier League star to have suspected swine flu. The epidemic has been sweeping through the nation in recent months and many footballers have been diagnosed with the illness.

According to manager Tony Pulis Lawrence has been running on a low temperature over the past few days. "He`s been sick for two days".

Pulis also said that he didn`t know whether it was the much coveted virus but did reveal that the Irishman it having tests run by doctors and is an early doubt to make the first eleven against Wigan on Saturday. Which means that Rory Delap will most likely play on the wing again….
