Fans split on Tuncay fiasco

Fans split on Tuncay fiasco

After a week to reflect on whether Tony Pulis was right to sub Tuncay at Hull, Stoke fans are still split down the middle.

Our Vital Stoke poll was close throughout the week with those believing that Tone was right to sub him just edging it.

My personal view is that (with the enormous benefit of hindsight) he was wrong to bring him off when Ab Faye was shown the red card. At the time, I thought he'd done the right thing by trying to make sure that we got at least a point with just over five minutes remaining of the match. Unfortunately for managers, they have to make that decision in the full glare of the TV cameras and fans, whilst we can vent our opinion with little comeback.

Hopefully now that we're in the middle of the two week break, both manager and player will be able to sit down and discuss the situation like the rational, professional guys that I'm sure they are and we're all be able to move on by the time next Sunday's match comes around and thrash the pants off Portsmouth at the Brit.

Up the Potters!!!!
