Pugh signs on the dotted line

Pugh signs on the dotted line

Versatile Midfielder Danny Pugh has signed a new 1 year contract extension with the club, it has been confirmed today.

The deal sees Pugh, a £500,00 signing from Preston two seasons ago, staying at the Brit until at least 2012.

The 27 year old former Manchester United player has so far represented the Potters 50 times in all competitions including several appearances in their fight for survival last year, but this year opportunities have been hard and he has been limited to just 2 appearances, which may surprise some people as to why he has extended his contract.

But being one of TP`s favourites is always going to stand you in good stead and maybe we can expect to see him in the squad for Saturday`s difficult encounter away at Spurs.
