Who's coming into Stoke?

Tony Pulis has said that he is targeting another four players with just one day to go until the transfer windows shuts - so who could they be?

Two of them are probably quite easy. Danny Collins is known to be in talks with the Potters after sitting out the match on Saturday in the Sunderland dug-out.

Uruguay international Diego Arismendi is another that is known to be very close to a deal after watching Stoke on Saturday. The 21 year old could even sign today.

That leaves two more possible signings and, if you listen to the rumour mill, there are several to choose from:

Joe Ledley has been discussed around the Brit for well over twelve months now and the drawbridge has again been lifted at Cardiff as they wait to see if yet another last minute bid will come for the Welsh international.

Other reports have linked us with yet another Black Cat - defender Phil Bardsley and that's on top of the £10m bid we're said to have put in for Kenwyne Jones, but Jones has to be long shot as Steve Bruce will not be willing to part with his in-form striker unless a bid of Man City proportions arrives on his doormat.

Talking of City, we've been linked with a £5m bid for their winger, Martin Petrov.

David James is another one who's been linked with a move out of Fratton Park as the rats flock to leave the Portsmouth ship. But why he would choose Stoke? Thomas Sorensen has done nothing that warrants being knocked off the number one slot and I can't see him coming in as an understudy.

Martin Petrov would be a fantastic signing for you, but I don't expect it to happen, as he's been in London holding talks for Spurs. Much rather he went to Stoke rather than the spuds, but who knows?

He ended up staying at City as Sparky was not for letting him go..
