Stoke announce La Liga friendly

Stoke City have announced that they'll play a friendly against Spanish league club, Real Valladolid.

The match will be at the Brit on Friday August 7th (kick-off: 7pm) and fills the final vacant slot in their pre-season fixture list.

The Potters have also now confirmed that they'll play two friendlies whilst on their traditional week long Austrian training camp in the middle of July.

Current pre-season schedule:
Wednesday June 17th 2009 at 10am - Premier League fixtures released
Thursday July 9th: Players return to training
Sunday 12th July: Newcastle Town (Lyme Valley Stadium) - 2.30pm
Sunday 12th July: Nantwich Town (Weaver Stadium) - 3pm
Wednesday 15th July: Tour of Austria
Friday July 17th: FC St Pauli (venue tbc) - 6.30pm local time
Tuesday July 21st: TSG 1899 Hoffenheim (Bischofshofen) - 6.30pm local time
Wednesday 22nd July: Return from Austria
Saturday 25th July: Preston North End (Deepdale) - 3pm
Wednesday 29th July: Nottingham Forest (City Ground) - 7.45pm
Saturday 1st August: Derby County (Pride Park) - 1pm
Friday 7th August: Real Valladolid (Britannia) - 7pm
Saturday 15th August: Start of Premier League 2009/10 season.
