Faye is Stoke's Ab Fab player

Abdoulaye Faye has been voted the Vital Stoke player of the season by fans.

The Senegalese international, who was signed from Newcastle United at the start of the season, comfortably came top of the voting with 53% of the votes cast with January signing, James Beattie in second place on 13%. Ryan Shawcross took third place with 8%.

Abdoulaye has endeared himself to fans after telling the media recently that he doesn't want to ever leave Stoke with reports linking him with a move to Arsenal in the summer.
