Pericard back at Stoke after Lions injury
Vincent Pericard has been forced to call short his loan spell at Millwall following a calf muscle injury that looks like ending his season early.
Pericard only joined the Lions last week and sustained the injury during their 3-1 win over Cheltenham last night and Lions boss Kenny Jackett told the official site: 'It looks like Vincent could be out for the season with a torn calf muscle.
It is very disappointing for us and heartbreaking for him.
We saw some signs during his first half performance that were really promising, he won a lot of flicks, gave us a presence that we have not had for a month or two. You could see the progression that he has made, but it looks like he will have to go back to Stoke.'
