Fuller arrested

Fuller arrested

Stoke City striker, Ricardo Fuller has been arrested by police in relation to a motoring offence.

It's not the first time Ric's been been in hot water this season after being red carded for hitting Andy Griffin just after Christmas and he's still on the sidelines after dislocating his shoulder three weeks ago.

The club are making little comment other than confirming that he was arrested this morning by Staffordshire Police in connection to 'a motoring offence'

But a police spokesperson told the media: 'At about 9.30am this morning in Riverside Road, Trent Vale, a 29-year-old man driving a vehicle was stopped by officers.

'As a result of their enquiries, his vehicle was seized and he was arrested for driving licence and vehicle insurance offences and taken to Northern Area Custody Facility where he will be interviewed today.'
