'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Everton clash on the move again?

Stoke City's match at Everton next month may be moved for the second time.

Merseyside police have already forced the Toffees to move the tie from Saturday March 14th to the following day after the BNP announced that they wanted to march through the city on that day and the police felt that they could not cover both events.

The BNP now seem to have decided to cancel their event and there may be an opportunity to move the match back to the Saturday. Deputy BNP leader Simon Darby told the BBC: 'It's the right thing to do. It's an unholy political row and football is going to be the loser here, so I don't see why Everton and Stoke fans should be inconvenienced. If the police can cancel these fixtures as they seem to do at the drop of a hat, then they can rearrange it now.'

The police say that they have still not had official word from the BNP but Everton officials are due to discuss their options with the Premier League tomorrow.
