Demar leaves Stoke but where's Kelly?

It may be 24 hours since the transfer window closed for the season, but there are still some comings and goings at Stoke to sort out.

The club have now announced that Jamaican international, Demar Phillips has left the Brit after they agreed on a free transfer with Norwegian club, Alesund. Demar had arrived 18 months ago full of promise for the future, but he's only made four appearances during that time and this move will hopefully give him a chance of regular first team football when the Norwegian football season starts in March.

As we reported last night, Stoke have agreed a loan move with Birmingham for Stephen Kelly but, despite the club confirming that they hoped the deal could still go through after gaining special dispensation from the FA due to the severe weather, there has been no further news one way or another.
