Gifton on the move again?

Gifton on the move again?

It seems that former Potter, Gifton Noel Williams may be on the move again.
Our colleagues over at the Burnley Vital Football site are reporting that the big forward could be moving to Millwall come the summer. Brighton are also reported to have been interested, but to have found GNW's salary a bit too rich for their liking so have decided to not pursue him for the time being. Whichever club he ends up at, it looks like League 1 football for Gifton next season.
GNW found himself on the bench for Saturday’s game against his old club, but came on in the second half and could do little to avoid yet another defeat for the Clarets.

I think most Potters fans could have told Burnley that they would have been better off ditching GNW earlier and keeping Ade Akinbiyi. If they had then maybe they would not have dropped as far as they have.

In other news, Wayne Thomas played his last game for Burnley this season on Saturday after he found out that he has broken the second metatarsal in his foot. He will be out for the rest of the season.
