Stoke issue statement on Boskamp row

Stoke issue statement on Boskamp row

Stoke City tonight issued an official statement stating that Director of Football, John Rudge and Assistant Manager, Jan De Koning had been asked 'to stay away from the club pending discussions about their future roles and their continuing involvement at the club'

There has been a club board meeting taking place at the Britannia today and it was well known that the subject of the continuing Management rift was high on the agenda.

From this statement, it would look like Rudge and De Koning are going to be asked to leave. The big question is will Boskamp also go? He is meeting with the chairman before the game on Saturday.

Rudge should not go just because Boskamp does not like him. Hang in there Rudgie!
