The Rams are next up for Stoke

Stoke City have drawn another home tie in the Quarter Finals of the Carling Cup with Derby County the visitors.

After seeing off Rotherham in midweek, the only thing that really mattered was that the Potters drew another match at the Brit and with Derby County the opposition it seems, on paper at least, a good draw.

Hopefully, we'll be able to get close to a full house for the Potters' first League Cup quarter final match since 1978 and provide the same intimidating atmosphere that has seen off the likes of Villa, Sunderland, Arsenal and Spurs this season in the Premier League.

The date has yet to be agreed but will be either on Tuesday 2nd or Wednesday 3rd December.

This was the draw I wanted. Burnley may still be on a high after beating Chelsea and Watford games in the recent past have all been pretty dire tense affairs. No excuses - if we blow this we will only have ourselves to blame. Should be a good night as Derby should sell their allocation.

Can see derby winning this, can see them snatching it by a single goal.
