Can we get Arsenal in the cup?

Vital Stoke readers have said that they would like to see the Potters pitted against the Gunners in the next round of the Carling Cup.

The draw for the quarter finals takes place tomorrow at noon on Sky Sports and 39% on Stoke fans who voted in the latest Vital Stoke poll said that they would like to see us have the opportunity to dole out a second helping of humble pie to the Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger.

Not surprisingly, though, some realism has sunk in with no-one voting for us to face a resurgent Spurs team who we also beat just over three weeks ago. That was before the appointment of Harry Redknapp, who seems to have turned things around at White Hart Lane in record time.

Full poll results:
Arsenal 39%
Watford 21%
Derby 17%
Man United 13%
Burnley 6%
Blackburn 4%
Spurs 0%

Are you guys mad .. take Burnley or Derby for god's sake .. it's a cup competition ... progression not defeat is the objective.. The young guns are awesome..

Please god you get us, and our babies will show you how it should be done, you may score one or maybe even two with your hands, but vela and co will show you how its done with the feet!

actually i wud really like us to get stoke so that win or lose the young guns will get a good taste of physical side of football but im also worried that stoke at times are prone to use too much muscle and less brains and just tackle without thinking that these are young kids with a bright future. nways i dont think u would beat the young guns at the emirates.

it doesnt matter who you get really......you have to win all your matches to win it !!!!

If you were drawn against the young guns of arsenal i'm afraid it would be another sheff utd result, they are simply too good for your team.
