Buxton joins the Owls

Lewis Buxton has joined Championship side, Sheffield Wednesday on a three month loan.

The 25 year old defender has not had the best of luck since joining from Portsmouth in 2004 and has struggled with injury for the last two seasons, making only one first team appearance during that time. This season, appearances have been limited to two outings in the Carling Cup and so it's not surprising that Tony Pulis is prepared to loan him out to give him the opportunity for some first team action.
