C'mon you Potters!

C'mon you Potters!

Let's raise the roof at the Brit today for our first ever home match in the Premier League.

Aston Villa are the visitors (as if you didn't already know!) and a full house is guaranteed with the final tickets sold yesterday for this historic event.

Tony Pulis has called on all Potters' fans to get behind the team, but we really should not need telling....

This is what we have hoped and prayed for for over 24 years (as least those of us that our old enough to remember), now that it's upon us, let's make sure that we really enjoy ourselves this season.

Yes, there will be several games, hopefully not too many, where it will be tough being a Potters fan, but this is a difficult league with some of the best teams and players in the world who will be all paying a visit to the Potteries over the next few months. It's up to us, the fans, to get behind the team - whatever - and make sure that come May we're celebrating Premier League survival.

So let's all get behind the lads....

C'MON YOU POTTERS!!!!!!!!!!!

Well done you Potters, it pains me to say it but we just weren't good enough on the day. I don't think we underestimated you though, we expected a tough game. I'm sure you're all level-headed enough not to get too carried away just yet . . . it's a long old season afterall and there'll be tough times ahead when you've lost 7 or 8 games on the trot and still having to visit Old Trafford, The Emirates, Anfield, Stamford Bridge, VILLA PARK etc;) then we'll all know if you're good enough or not, personally I hope you are.
