Stoke fail in bid for Hyypia?
Stoke City have failed in a bid to land veteran Liverpool defender, Sami Hyypia, it's been reported.
According to several sources, the Potters submitted a £2.5m bid for the 34 year old, but Liverpool made it clear that they were in no hurry to sell the player who also appears keen to stay at Anfield, but has had to accept a drop down the pecking order in recent months.
The Finnish international has been on Merseyside for nearly ten years and played 446 times.
