Rooney moves on from Stoke

Striker, Adam Rooney has completed a £50,000 move to Scottish Premier League club, Inverness Caledonian Thistle.

Rooney has found it impossible to break into the starting eleven since Tony Pulis returned to the Brit and has had to be content with loans to Chesterfield, Bury and Yeovil over the past couple of years.

He joined the Potters in 2005 and whilst he only made two first team starts, he will be remembered for his hat-trick in a 5-1 win at Brighton on the last day of the 2005-06 season.
