Stoke: Two Faye day?
Stoke look set to sign two men named Faye today with the news that Abdoulaye Faye and Amdy Faye are in personal talks with the Potters.
Newcastle are reported to have agreed a £2m for Abdoulaye Faye and the player trained at the Michelin training ground yesterday. Amdy Faye has been on trial at Stoke for the past week after being told that he was not in Charlton's plans for the new season and made an appearance in Stoke's 2-2 draw with Osasuna last Friday.
If the deals can be completed today, they should be available for tomorrow's trip to Bolton at the Reebok.
BREAKING NEWS 12.40pm: The club have announced that Amdy Faye has been signed for an undisclosed fee from Charlton Athletic
