Riggott staying put?

Riggott staying put?

Chris Riggott doesn't look like he will be joining the Potters after impressing his Middlesborough boss too much whilst on loan at the Brit.

'Boro boss, Gareth Southgate recalled the defender for the vital match against Portsmouth just two days before the Potters' own match of the season against Leicester and he went on to score the first goal in their 2-0 victory.

Southgate then went on the record by stating that he had told Riggott that he had been wrong to pick players based on reputation, rather than their current form, implying that he had been also been wrong to think of letting him leave.

Meanwhile, as Stoke have not heard from the North East club, Tony Pulis seems to be reluctantly casting his net elsewhere.
