Potters celebrate with open-top bus tour

The Potters' Premier League celebrations will continue on Tuesday evening with an open-top bus tour of the city for the Stoke team and officials followed by a civic reception at the Brit.

Full details are still not confirmed by the club, but we understand that it is planned to start from Trentham Gardens at around 5.40pm, go to Longton, Hanley, Hartshill and Stoke before ending up at Britannia Stadium around 8.15pm.

If the last such tour, when we won the Division 2 play-off in 2002, was anything to go by, I'd take these times as very approximate. Let's just hope that the weather is a bit better than on Sunday and that the city turns out in force.
