'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Be a part of Stoke's Big Picture

Staffordshire based arts group 'Letting in the Light' need your help with a world record attempt to create the Big Picture and they'll also be at the Brit for the Potters' sell-out final match of the season to record (hopefully) the celebrations as we return to the top tier of English football.

The Big Picture is a project to create the biggest photo album in the West Midlands and an attempt to set a world record. Anyone can add their favourite pictures of family, friends, local landmarks, even their pets! There`ll be competitions and prizes to be won and events taking part at the Potteries Museum & Art Gallery and around the City running from now until June.
By the end of June, The Big Picture (www.inthebigpicture.co.uk) aims to have collected over 95,000 photographs, which will be used in a word record attempt to create the largest photo mosaic in the world.

Sarah Bonam of Letting in the Light explains, 'We are asking people to get involved by taking photos when they are out and about in the area and sending them to us. All photos we receive directly will be put in to the Big Picture photo frame in the Potteries Museum & Art Gallery and will be added to the Big Picture site to contribute to the world record attempt. It would be great if the people of Stoke-on-Trent could contribute the most pictures in the West Midlands!'

To share your photos with The Big Picture Stoke, you can either:
1. Drop them off at the Potteries Museum & Art Gallery in Hanley
2. Text your MMS pictures by sending them to 60300 and put BIGPIC at the start of the text
3. Post them to Letting in the Light, FREEPOST NAT 21973, Newcastle-under-lyme, Staffs. ST5 3BR
4. Email them to lettinginthelight@dsl.pipex.com
