'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Zakuani: You Can't Knock Results

Gabby Zakuani praises Potters boss Tony Pulis and explains why Stoke's physical brand of football can't be knocked - because it brings results.

'We're not the prettiest side. We go out to get results. You can't knock that because it's been working - on a limited budget too. Tony Pulis is probably one of the best managers in the league if you look at what he's had to play with. The signings he's made have been good for the club.

'We know how difficult it is in the Premiership. There's a gulf in class. We'd need to make loads of new signings and try to adapt if we did go up. People will probably agree that a lot of teams don't like playing us. That makes me more confident that we'd stay up if we did win promotion.'
