Fuller to start in Coventry clash

Tony Pulis is set to recall Ricardo Fuller for Saturday's match against Coventry at the Ricoh Arena after he was sidelined for the home defeat against Palace last Monday.

Fans were devastated that Fuller had been dropped to the bench for the Sky TV clash after returning from a two match ban, but Pulis revealed after the game that the Jamaican international was not match fit after his three week lay-off and a trip back to Jamaica on international duty.

TP had obviously hoped that with Shola Ameobi and Mamady Sidibe up front that that would have been enough, but was forced to bring Ric on early in the second half as the Potters were facing a two goal deficit. But it seemed that it was not until the introduction of Jay Bothroyd in the latter stages and Stoke pushed forward with Fuller, Ameobi and Bothroyd up-front that we really started to threaten the Eagles' defence and finally managed a late goal from Glenn Whelan.
