Lawrence signs contract extension

Stoke City midfielder, Liam Lawrence has signed a one year extension to his current contract to keep him at the Brit until 2012.

The former Black Cat has scored 14 goals this season and has been in impressive form since moving from Wearside last season.

With the Potters still in fine form, it shows that there is loads of belief in the dressing room in the team's ability to progress further this season and follows on from Ricardo Fuller's contract extension that he signed at the start of the year.
