All the Management team to go?

Stoke City Chairman, Gunnar Gislason, has said that there could be Management changes at the Britannia very soon.

He told BBC Radio Stoke that several scenarios have been considered to resolve the current managerial fiasco at the club, in which John Rudge (Director of Football) and Manager, Johan Boskamp, are no longer on speaking terms and Boskamp has made repeated threats that “he goes or I go”.

Apparently, the Board are keen to resolve this sooner rather than later and have considered several scenarios including one in which all three men (including assistant Manager, Jan de Koning) leave the club.

Gislason also stated that the Board have probably waited longer than they should have to take action. He said that he had hoped that the situation would resolve itself, but as it has not, then the time has now come to take action.

His words come on the back of another blank score sheet for the Potters, after their goalless draw against Plymouth Argyle, now managed by former manager Tony Pulis who received a very warm welcome from Stoke fans at the game on Tuesday night.

Stoke are currently running the rule over two unnamed African internationals that they hope will sign a precontract agreement shortly and Gislason has hinted that action will be taken before any such signings take place.
